Consumption tax?

boortz.com: Nealz Nuze August 02, 2004

This is the first sign of anything from the Republicans that sounds good lately. Today's news about the "specific" security threats in NY, NJ and DC now seem to have been based on years-old intel, according to Drudge. The silly thing about the proposed tax reform is that it recalls components of the 2000 Bush campaign that were quickly abandoned after the election. Privatization of Social Security. School vouchers. Ideas whose time have come, and perhaps gone before they arrived. Let's hope that, if Bush gains a second term, the abolition of the IRS gets top concern.

Peace,
